Saiu nesta segunda-feira (7), a lista oficial dos indicados ao Grammy 2016, maior e mais prestigioso prêmio da indústria musical internacional. O rapper da cidade de Compton (coração do Rap de L.A.), kendrick Lamar, é o artista indicado mais vezes na 58ª edição do Grammy, superando a bem cotada cntora pop Taylor Swif, que foi indicada 7 vezes — mesmo número do rapper The Weeknd.
Kendrick está concorrendo nas categorias Álbum do Ano e Melhor disco de Rap com o CD “To Pimp a Butterfly”; Canção do Ano, Melhor Performance de Rap, Melhor Canção de Rap e Melhor Clipe com o single “Alright”; Melhor Performance Duo/Grupo e novamente Melhor Clipe com “Bad Blood” de Taylor Swif; Melhor Colaboração de Rap com “These Walls” com Anna Wise, Bilal e Thundercat; Melhor Gravação Dance em sua participação na “Never Catch Me“, do Flying Lotus; e também ainda leva o caneco em Melhor Musica de Rap por sua colaboração com a letra de “All Day“, do Kanye West.
